When is the Lacrosse Season?

Lacrosse is played in the Spring (mid February to the end of May).

 

Is experience needed?

No experience is needed!

 

What equipment is needed to play?

A women's lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard, & cleats are required to practice or play. Visit the US Lacrosse website for a list of legal equipment.

 

How many games are played per week?

Youth teams play 1 to 2 games per week. Middle School teams play up to 3 games per week.

 

How many practices will be held per week?

Coaches will decide practice days and times. Practices may be held daily prior to lacrosse games starting.

 

How far will we travel to games?

Games are played as far as the Cincinnati area. Travel can be up to 1 hour.

 

How much is it to play lacrosse?

Per player, there is a $220 registration fee, $30 annual US Lacrosse membership fee, a uniform fee, and the cost of required equipment (stick, goggles, mouth guard, & cleats).

Can I play another Spring sport while playing lacrosse?

Lacrosse is a time consuming team sport. Attending practice and being present for games is important to the success of the team. We will work with each player on a case to case basis.
